What we do
Firstly, we analyse the site. We check various things such
as:
a. The type of site, is it html, flash, .asp etc, all of
these require different methods to get them listed on the
search engine.
b. Then we optimise the web site, looking at things like
navigation, meta tags, make up of the site (framed or Non-framed).
How much text content is in the body of the page. We analyse
the keywords - see how many times that they have been searched
in the last 60 days, and look at alternative ones that may
rank you higher. We also check the keyword weight and prominence
within the body text, also the word count - this needs to
be around 300-400 words.
c. Site links are important to search engines, not just
how many but also the quality of them. Some search engines
like Google will rank you higher if you have a number of
good links.
d. Lastly before we start work on the site, we do a complete
search on all of the major search engines to see if you already
have any listings that you may be unaware of.
How we do it.
We are not going to tell you in detail what we do, this
is just to give you an idea and to see that it can be quite
involved.
a. We buy a number of keyword domain names, these are set
up as small websites and linked to the main site to create
the inward and outward links.
b. Depending on what we found whilst optimising the web
site we then correct everything to suite our needs. These
are things such as the meta tags, keywords in the body text,
if the site needs rebuilding because it is framed etc. In
some cases where the site is built entirely in flash we need
to set up cloaking.
c. We open an account with one of the paid placement search
engines and also set up the paid inclusion into other engines.
d. Finally we start to manually and automatically submit
your pages to the search engines.
